No matter the game was more than 800 miles away. This old building was the place to be. This was home. Fans cheered, the band blared, feet stomped.
...All over town, fans gathered in bars, churches, living rooms and front yards.
And, of course, Allen Fieldhouse. As game time approached, they poured in like a high holy day.
