The picture of Andrew Wiggins vert jump floating around? His agent, Bill Duffy, told me it's a 44 inch vert.

Who has the highest vertical leap in NBA Combine history? Former Jayhawk Kenny Gregory. In 2001 Gregory jumped 45.5 inches.

Andrew Wiggins believes he should be the No. 1 pick in next month’s NBA Draft.
And he may well get his wish.
“I always put myself No. 1 above anybody else. That’s just me. I got a lot of confidence in myself,” Wiggins said Monday on ESPN’s “First Take.”
Both Chad Ford of ESPN and DraftExpress.com have the 6-foot-8 Wiggins going No. 1 overall, ahead of Duke’sJabari Parker and Wiggins’ Kansas teammate Joel Embiid.
“I think for me, Jabari or Joel, I think we all want to go No. 1,” said Wiggins, who averaged 17.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in his only season at Kansas. “But it’s not the end of the world if we don’t because there’s been a lot of great players that ended up to be the best ever, and great Hall of Famers, that never went No. 1 and still had a great career.”

If you don’t already own a basketball jersey and a pair of high-top sneakers, you might want to pick some up in preparation of the June 26 celebrations.
Not only is that NBA draft day, the city is declaring it Andrew Wiggins Day in Vaughan — for this year only.
City councillors at Tuesday afternoon’s committee of the whole meeting voted unanimously to name the day after the highly touted NBA prospect, who is expected to go high in the draft, if not first overall.
